Water Polo Resources
We are fortunate in Michigan to have a few prestigious universities that also feature strong water polo and aquatics programs.
The
Michigan State University
Men's water polo team was undefeated in the Big 10 last year and for the past 3 years. For a portion of the season, the Spartans were ranked as the No. 1 water polo team in the nation.
Several Okemos High School graduating seniors from the class of 2008 plan to try out for the Spartan men's team as walk-ons this fall. We wish them well!The
MSU Women's Water Polo Team
also enjoyed great success this past year, taking 1st place in the National Collegiate Club Championships.
The University of Michigan women
enjoy water polo as a varsity sport!
For the guys, it remains a club sport. However, the
University of Michigan men
also have a strong water polo program. The U of M is also well known for its stellar swim-dive program.
Grand Valley University
also has a strong Water Polo Program.
