Water Polo Equipment --Weight Belt Required.

At the June parent meeting, the coach gave me a catalog page with a water polo weight belt on it and asked that I place it out on the web.

The weight belt is designed to improve leg strength through use during work-outs, drills, and scrimmages.

I guess it simulates the WWE-Underwater Experience the guys enjoy every time they play polo! Hah!

While I am rambling on about products, I wanted to share with you that there is a wonderful water polo swim suit available out at Speedo.com. My son has had his maroon practice suit for 2 years and it hasn't faded, torn or lost its elastic through 2 seasons of polo and swimming. The other thing I like about it is the 4-inch side seam that completely eliminates the scenic bend-over-and- crack-a-smile experience that has moms from Ann Arbor to Rockford cringing in the stands. (This is an unpaid PSA for polo-moms everywhere!)
