Team OrganizationMy mother always used say,"Many hands make light work." She usually said this when there was work to be done that was easier for two people working together to accomplish than by one person working alone. Stripping beds and making them back up again with fresh linens are tasks that spring to mind. Well, that statement might seem a bit dated today. In fact, I can't recall the last time I heard anybody use that particular phrase. However, the basic truth embodied in that snippet of homespun wisdom remains true today and applies to the task of organizing the activities of our water polo team.
It takes many people contributing their time and their talents to help our team's activities and events run smoothly. There are many volunteer opportunities for you share your talents with the team. In fact, there are a couple of assignments that are required of all parents. This involves the provision of food and snacks for the team. 1) Each family is required to sign-up with 3 or 4 other families to provide a post-home game dinner for our team and the opposing team. 2) Each family is required to sign-up with 2 or 3 other families to provide snacks for weekend away-tournaments. A sign-up sheet will be circulated at the organizational meeting following the Meet the Chiefs assembly in the fall. A sign-up form will also be available on-line... coming soon. Another important task is compiling a Parent Directory to ensure that you receive all of the latest breaking news regarding our team's activities. Please complete and submit the form below to ensure that your name is placed on the team's Parent Directory. Both parents should complete this form, where applicable.
The Parent Directory will be placed on a password-protected page in this "Team Organization" section of our website. Athletes can be registered for the team by completing the Athlete Registration Form accessible from the link posted below.
