Team Dues

Team Dues are Due...

Checks for Team Dues should be made payable to Mike Nevells, our parent team leader.

All forms and fees will be collected on August 11th, the evening before the first day of practice This includes athletic fees, physical forms, code of conduct forms, team dues and all of the other items listed in this Parent-Info section of our website.

For the 2009 water polo season, $100 will be assessed per player. These dues will cover the following items:

Water Polo Team Shirt

Water Polo Team Hoodie Sweatshirt

Senior Night-- Water Polo Team Cake, Flowers

Team Awards Banquet-- Dinner for 1 player plus 1 guest will be covered. Additional family members are welcome and encouraged to attend at an additional charge, estimated to be between $7-10 per person for 2009.

Coaches' Gifts

None of our parents enjoy hounding other parents for money on behalf of the team. We have found that it is a lot easier on parent-volunteers to collect as many of these incidental team fees up-front and to collect as many at one time as possible-- thus the Team Dues approach.

Now we can't promise you that there won't be any other fees because there probably will be some. In fact, I can think of a couple right now.

If our team makes it to Regionals and State Finals this year, the boys and the parents usually design and order unique tee-shirts to show our spirit and support our team. Charges for these special shirts will be collected near the end of the season and will be optional.

Okemos High School Water Polo team took second place at the east Kentwood tournament in 2007.
