“Senior Night” - Okemos Seniors Slug it out with Seaholm!

Okemos High School water polo started this past Monday night with a commanding Junior Varsity 7 to 1 win over Birmingham Seaholm which set the stage for an exciting high-scoring “Senior Night” varsity game.

Seniors Kyle Barrett and Kian Azadia were recognized in the traditional ceremony between the JV and the varsity games and both seniors then proceeded to lead their team to a commanding victory.
The Chiefs out-scored Seaholm in the first quarter 7 to 1 and kept the pressure on throughout the rest of the game.

Senior Kyle Barrett’s 4 goals and Senior Kian Azadia’s 3 goals combined with scoring from Marsh 4, Wozniak 3, and Kohler 3 provided a clear view of a team ready to face the top teams in the post season & state finals on November 7th & 8th.
